Mothering Sunday – 14 March 2010

Mum at Clivedon Today is Mothering Sunday – a time to thank mothers worldwide for everything they do for us. After getting in from the weekend at the bungalow, and whilst waiting for Mum, I remembered an advert I had seen in the National Trust Member’s guide, offering free cake for all mums this Mother’s Day.

It was a nice walk through the grounds, and mum enjoyed the cake and Earl Gray.

But, when it came time to set off back home, I started thinking about the very challenging French homework that I still hadn’t done.

But it all got done in the end, and now I am lying in bed, about to nod off.

Night night.
