With Britain in Diamond Jubilee fever, I take a look at the preparations my road is taking ahead of its street party, while Maidenhead celebrates at the specially royal-themed Carnival in the town centre.
Every May, Carters Steam Fair (which spends eight months a year on the road) comes home for a week in Maidenhead. This year was no different, and I spent a few hours on Saturday 12 at its Pinkneys Green site.
