First Night Of The Lights – 19 December 2009

Saturday was the first night of the lights being open to the public. So, when we got up, we started making the house look lovely.

At 4:00 pm, the house was opened, and over the course of the next 5 hours, only three different parties came. This was mainly down to the snow and ice, making the conditions particularly difficult to travel in. Two of my good friends came – Madi and Jade – and they enjoyed the lights having never seen them before.

At 9:00 pm, they went home, and we tidied up the cakes and mince pies etc.
