Christmas Lights Progress So Far – 18 December 2010

With just hours left until the start of our Christmas Lights Open House weekend, final preparations have been underway. Our Christmas Tree has finally come in from the garden, and Dad spent the evening ‘lighting it up’. We’ve also been busy putting up the Christmas cards we’ve received up around the house, and in between all of this, “tested” Dad’s mince pies.

However, perhaps most majorly, I’ve been extremely preoccupied Christmassing my room up. As I explained in yesterday’s blog, it’s tradition for my room to be used as a Santa’s Grotto – though nowadays, most guests are simply shown a video of Father Christmas (played by me) wishing them a very merry Christmas.

In the morning, I’ve got to shoot and edit Santa’s video message, so that’ll keep me out of mischief. I’ll see you soon. Bye!
