Thursday 11th March 2010

Today is the 11 March, and that means it is Matthew’s birthday. You may remember Monday’s post, in which I told you how I had gone to find him a birthday card. I swear it would be cheaper to send him a fiver with ‘Happy Birthday’ cut out of it…

Anyway, he loved the pop-up card, and enjoyed the Fruit Pastilles. He was also very pleased to learn about my success with the jamboree, when I phoned him this morning.

I’ve also spent time on the internet, investigating the thousands of Street View streets launched on Google Maps. But I suppose that something far more important has also been done.

I’ve been looking at webhosting and FTP uploading, and finally finished some sort of attempt. If you’re interested, head here.

It’s still very much work in progress, but it is exciting the capabilities. And don’t worry that the 5-day-old WordPress is nearly dead, we have a built in WordPress reader, getting the RSS feed directly from the blog.

Keep blogging,

Andrew Burdett
