Happy New Year

Good morning. It’s the last day of 2009, and of course the 2000’s. Funnily enough, it’s taken us nearly the full ten years to decide what this decade will be called. But it seems that it really will go down in the records as ‘the noughties’. And what a decade it’s been; starting as the century of the rubbish fireworks on the Thames, and the doomed ‘Millennium Dome’, we quickly sorted ourselves out…. The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, Facebook, YouTube, Wi-Fi, , Mac OS X, and Windows XP. Sadly, we also had Windows Vista, Jay-Z, Gordon Brown, and the recession. But, whatever, it’s a whole new decade… just imagine what you could be doing in ten year’s time.

Whatever you’re doing tonight, happy new year!
