Once again, Carters Steam Fair rolled into Maidenhead on Monday for its annual weekend at home. Yet, unlike previous years, when the site has been bustling with thousands of people, today’s rain seemed to be keeping most away. Not me, though – this post contains photographs taken during a brief interlude to my revision.
Every May, Carters Steam Fair (which spends eight months a year on the road) comes home for a week in Maidenhead. This year was no different, and I spent a few hours on Saturday 12 at its Pinkneys Green site.
