It’s dawn on the morning after the night before. Around me, my new flatmates are yet to wake from their first-night Freshers’ slumbers. But I, in my own cosy corner of the vast Endcliffe student accommodation village, am awake and raring to go.
I love my life. Lots of people say that – and they may be right – but I try not to forget just how fortunate I am. Above everything else, I've got a pair of the most devoted, loving parents in the world, and I do (quite literally) owe my life to them. Of course I take things for granted, but through Scouting and Christianity, I try to put my bit back into society too. My interests are music, theatre, and English... and I make a pretty bomb flapjack too.
