Today my exams season ends and the summer can finally begin. I’m watching a show in London, providing the PA for the church fair, and throwing a boat party.

Today my exams season ends and the summer can finally begin. I’m watching a show in London, providing the PA for the church fair, and throwing a boat party.
Changing gear on my bike, my chain locked up and threw me off. Beneath me, my bike slid right across the road, twisting the handlebars and bending the derailleur. Picking myself off the floor, I brushed myself down, but my suit was ruined – and my wrist was feeling strange.
Regular readers will know of my involvement with the half-termly production of The Stag, my school’s Sixth Form-run newsmagazine, that I – along with my friends Chloe and Jack – reinvented this time last year....

It is with great delight that I can now reveal that I’ve been made Furze Platt’s Head Boy for the next twelve months. I now look forward to a year fulfilling the role’s duties to the very best of my ability.
As the Furze Platt Harlem Shake video notches up 5.5k views, I reflect on the great reaction the video received on Twitter. In a world in which spontaneity is increasingly hampered by risk assessment and bureaucracy, it was refreshing to see this video pulled off so successfully, so quickly.
