Today, in its own small and unmarked way, was for me the end of an era. After five years as its Editor, my final edition of InSpire, the church magazine of St Luke’s, Maidenhead, was published.

Two years on from St Luke’s Church’s inaugural Music Festival, the two-week long event has returned. Tonight, the Festival Orchestra opened the fortnight, playing under John Cotterill’s baton.
