Whilst at the Lizard Point with Explorers, I went down onto the rocks to become – for albeit only a moment – the most southerly man in all of mainland Britain. The Lizard Point is the most southerly point on mainland Great Britain at 49° 57′ 30″ N. With the exception of parts of the Isles of Scilly it is the southernmost part of England.
