Photo of the Week – 24 April 2011

This Week’s Photo

It’s an Easter special!

First things first, yes, it’s the first portrait Photo of the Week (I tried a landscape one, but couldn’t fit in the top of the lilies nor the bottom of the stained-glass window. Obviously taken in a church, I took this on Friday morning at St Luke’s, following the Good Friday activity morning. The three crosses, supplied by associate priest Terrie Robinson, were purchased on her travels to Jerusalem. Notice the bare altar, lacking an altar-cloth. This was removed on Maundy Thursday, after the service that night.

About ‘Photo of the Week’

Every Sunday, I’m intending to post a photograph taken at some point during the previous seven days. I know that many of the photos featured will not be of enviable quality, but then the aim is mainly to give me something to nostalgically look back over at the end of the year.
