Spring Arrives In Maidenhead – 19 March 2011

With the clocks going forward next weekend, spring arrived in Maidenhead today as our riverside town basked in the glorious sun. After having my hairs cut, I headed off for the Thames, armed with my camera.

It was also lovely to see the 1908 Ada Lewis trough with flowing water in it. The last time I’d stopped by it was on Christmas Day last year; it was so frozen in fact that I was able to stand on it!

Choosing my ‘Photo of the Week’ is going to be hard tomorrow: I’m just so pleased with the results of today’s snaps – due, almost entirely, to the weather, rather than any ‘skills’ I may have.
