Christmas Lights Progress So Far – 2 December 2010

Here’s some of the latest photos as the Christmas Lights 2010 go up:

HANDIWORK

Handiwork: Dad ties paper stars together on a piece of cotton, to be suspended above audience’s heads as the watch.

HE_TELLS_ME_OFFHe Tells Me Off: Dad tells me off when I have a messy room, but look what he’s done to my sister’s bedroom! Her room is closest to the landing (where the ‘show’ takes place), and also directly below the loft. It’s his scene-dock! FLYING_WITHOUT_WINGS

Flying Without Wings: It’s not their wings that keep these Christmas angels flying; it’s a ‘ring of string’ (well, cotton), which rotates using LEGO® motors and wheels. If you look carefully, you can see a stage-plate, which has the shepherds on. In the actual ‘performance’, it’ll drop down to eye-level.

CATCH_A_FALLING_STARCatch a Falling Star: A lone star hangs down before being hoisted up to join its friends.

I hope this satisfies your Christmas Lights-following desires!
