Thank You – 29 April 2010

I’ve been on WordPress.com since January 2010, but only really started using it in early March. Since then, I’ve enjoyed the many advantages over Windows Live Blogs, while continuing to use the excellent Windows Live Writer (which is a bit like stabbing Microsoft in the back, really).

One thing I love is being able to see exactly how many people are clicking on each post. I have been blown away by the sheer number of readers I’ve accumulated over less that 60 days.

stats_from_wordpressApart from the home page, which shows a couple of blogs not counted towards the final ‘hits’, the most popular blog to date (16:49, 29 April 2010) is the one about the John Lewis advert posted just last weekend. Since then, it’s had 498 reads, a figure which may seem small, but is something I am truly amazed with. While I realise that it seems like I am slightly riding on the wave of John Lewis, I am pleased to see so many people reading what I’ve written.

So thank you, my readers, for supporting me, and thanks to people like Google for holding me high on certain search terms.

Do, please, continue to follow this blog, either by RSS or via the email subscription button. And check out www.andrewburdett.co.uk too.
