YouTube Gets a New Player – 28 April 2010

I’ve been enjoying some of the many delights of YouTube this evening, and suddenly the old player started changing. In one video I saw, the text showing the current position within the video had changed font, but within the last ten minutes, I noticed that the entire player (which has remained relatively similar since YouTube started in 2004) has just undergone a massive redesign.

It may take some time to get all videos up and about with the new player, but it should be pretty soon. It’s really clean, and really nice, so should make YouTube browsing even more user-friendly.
