Excellent News! – 9 March 2010

Last weekend was spent at the Bear’s Rail’s Campsite in Windsor Great Park. I was there on a selection weekend, to see if I had what it takes to represent Berkshire at the World Scout Jamboree in Sweden in 2011.

I came away confident that I had given it my best shot, but rather doubting whether I had given an outstanding performance.

However, after a couple of days waiting in suspense, I recieved a phone call this evening at dinner-time-ish.

Expecting the worst, but hoping for the best, I was delighted to learn that I had been successful in my bid.
