First Night Of The Lights – 19 December 2009

Saturday was the first night of the lights being open to the public. So, when we got up, we started making the house look lovely.Madi in Santa's Suit

At 4:00 pm, the house was opened, and over the course of the next 5 hours, only three different parties came. This was mainly down to the snow and ice, making the conditions particularly difficult to travel in. Two of my good friends came – Madi and Jade – and they enjoyed the lights having never seen them before.

At 9:00 pm, they went home, and we tidied up the cakes and mince pies etc.
